Bob Books Set 1: Beginning Readers

Teach a child letter sounds with Bob Books Set 1! With four letters in the first story, children can read a whole book. Consistent new sounds are added gradually, until young readers have read books with all letters of the alphabet (except Q). Short vowels and three-letter words in simple sentences make Bob Books Set 1 a fun confidence builder. With little books, come big success. (TM)

I am in my third year of teaching elementary; my 1st year I taught 2nd, then moved to an art position for half the year and finally to third. I teach at a school serving over 75% of low-income families.

I am working on a goal for my students to reach 1,000 books by the end of their third grade year.

why I requested this book

These books are amazing as my English specialist suggested these. I would love these books to strengthen the reading ability of my lower students.

the class

My class is just beginning third grade. They are coming to me with a low ELA ability and I want to help build that up which I can do through reading.
